Hello, fellow Omnibus collectors!
While this site is rooted in the traditional Omnibus format, our love for premium collected editions doesn't stop at the big two. We chase that oversized, high-end reading experience—and that means we often look beyond the standard "Omnibus" label. That’s why I'm thrilled to announce that we are adding Dark Horse Deluxe Manga to the OmnibusVault catalog!
Many of us have already carved out shelf space for these high-end manga. Standard manga tankōbon paperbacks measure a compact 5" x 7.5", which is great for portability. But seeing incredibly detailed artwork blown up to a premium 7" x 10" faux-leather hardcover gives a similar collectors vibe that we get from the DC and Marvel Omnibuses. They look incredible on a shelf, they present the art as it was meant to be seen, and they are a perfect complement to any Western comic collection.

The Berserk Deluxe hardcovers started the premium manga revolution when they hit store shelves in February 2019. Dark Horse wanted to try a new format geared toward the high-end collector, and they chose one of the most beloved franchises of all time: Berserk. Many of us have read Berserk over the years, watched one of its anime adaptations, or played the video games (I still fondly remember the Dreamcast game!).
The Berserk Deluxe Hardcovers started the Deluxe Manga revolution, hitting store shelves in February 2019. Dark Horse wanted to try a new format, geared to the high-end collector and choose one of the most beloved manga franchises: Berserk. Many of us have read Berserk over the years, watched of if its anime adaptations, or played one of the video games (I still remember fondly the Dreamcast video game!).
Since then, Dark Horse has continued to build out an incredible library of Deluxe editions—giving the same luxury treatment to titles like Hellsing, Blade of the Immortal, and Trigun. It was such a success that we are now seeing other publishers get in on the game with their own oversized, high-end formats.
