Discount Comic Book Service (DCBS) July Pre-order time!
DCBS' FOC pre-order system opened up on July 10th, and generally closes in a month, which would be around August 10th. Please note: There is no guarantee/promise that it will be exactly that date, so don't wait until August 10th-- It could close earlier! We recommend getting your orders in as soon as possible, if you can.
Visit our DCBS Pre-order page to see a curated list of just the Omnibuses available from DCBS.
Why order from DCBS?
You absolutely don't have to, but it does confirm you'll get what you want, as your order gets counted into DCBS' LARGE order with the publishers, and that number gets accounted for in their print run, versus you ordering from another retailer who has their own method of deciding how much to order, which may not be enough for your order.
I'll be clear-- I'm not trying to cause FOMO, we just know that Marvel has recently been spotty on creating enough surplus to meet unexpected demand, and are tending to print closer to what the retailers ask for. This can just give you peace of mind for the books you really wanted, without having to worry about ordering it the date of release.

X of Swords
If you are collecting the Krakoan era in reading order, and have secured your Dawn of X volumes 1 and Volume 2, this is the book that you need before reading Reign of X Volume 1 which releases this September. This is a second printing that we demanded after we started getting these chronological Omnibus releases, but they skipped over including the event. This is an Oversized Hardcover, so it doesn't have the Omnibus branding, but dimensions are the same, so it will match up with your books on the shelf. This creates some cohesion with their strategy marvel had to keep House of X/Powers of X as the prelude Oversized hardcover before Dawn of X. So, if you are a completionist for the Krakoa era, this is for you.

The Warlord by Mike Grell Omnibus Vol. 2
I am a sucker for Mike Grell's art (Grell had a recent kickstarter, just fyi) , and this period appropriate paper that looks close to the old newsstand paper-- it feels different, smells different and holy moly is it lighter. The first omnibus, Volume 1, in this set has been my travel book, just because it is so light. I'm considering adding a search filter for this book property if DC keeps it up!

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps by Robert Venditti Omnibus
Okay, so I really enjoy Ethan Van Sciver's artwork, and he's a good 30% of the book. I'm not weighing in on the man himself, but just his ability to draw Green Lantern, Batman, etc., fantastic. I've heard great things about Venditti's run, and if you'be been collecting Geoff Johns run and Venditti's hand-off Omnibuses afterwards, then this is the next step in your comprehensive collection.

Runaways by Rainbow Rowell Omnibus
Last recommendation for me this time around -- Rainbow Rowell's Runaways. You are getting a complete run and the artwork from Kris Anka and Adrian Alphona absolutely crush it.
Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear what you are getting! Make sure to mark what you've pre-ordered in the Omnibusvault.com app so it is easy to track what you have on order (and eventually your shelf)
